Float collar is equipped over the float shoe. The primary purpose is to prevent cement that has been placed in the wellbore annulus from flowing up the casing. Since float collar blocks fluid flow up the casing, it can be lessen the load on the drilling rig by providing a large buoyancy. It also can be a receptacle for the cementing plug.

This product has the following advantages:

1. This float collar is available in 4 1/2-in and larger casing sizes.
2. The valve is capable of withstanding long periods of circulation.
3. The float collar can withstand high back pressure.
4. The valve can be used in high temperature condition.
5. Either PDC or rock bit drillable.
